Our first constrained simulations were based on the MARK III catalog, the radial velocities of a sample of 3400 galaxies which covered the whole sky outside the zone of avoidance. In order to construct the constrained initial conditions in a 160 Mpc/h box the Wiener Filters algorithm had been applied to these data assuming a flat LCDM model (Klypin at al. 2003). In addition to observed radial velocities (MARK III, SBF) the linear overdensity of nearby X-ray selected clusters has beeen used to construct the constrained initial conditions for a series of simulations in a 64 Mpc/h box assuming different cosmologies (Martinez-Vaquero et al. 2007). Some results of these pre-CF simulations are shown in "Images and Movies". At the Jablonna meeting we decided to use the CosmicFlows observational data as constraints of the upcoming CLUES simulations.
